Design and energy efficiency analysis of hydrogen - fueled SOFC-‘GT+ST’ combined cycle system

Abstract In order to enhance electricity generation efficiency of hydrogen-fueled fuel cell gas turbine combined cycle system abbreviated as SOFC-GT system, a new with SOFC-GT+ST is based on the feature high concentration water vapor in anode hydrogen and introduction steam turbine, model ebsilon software built compare under same parameter conditions. The software, power, power generating efficiency, loss comparatively studied parameters, improved proposed. Research results show following: second which utilizes spent cathode separately, effectively thermal energy improves system; SOFC-′GT+ST SOFC-‘GT+ST’ further by recycling SOFC that does not participate electrochemical reaction, reaches 65.88%. research this paper provides reference for improving.
